ALL about Emily
Hi! My name is Emily Darling. I am 29 years old from the Diocese of Colorado. I am so excited to be serving in the Diocese of the Rift Valley at the Nursery School of St. John's Seminary.

I was born in Upstate NY and was baptized at St. John's Episcopal Church. I moved to Colorado from Upstate NY when I was almost five. I loved growing up in the foothills of Pikes Peak and exploring the mountains with my family as a kid. However, I still have a place in my heart for the rolling hills of NY. I graduated high school in 2009 and headed to Tacoma, Washington to attend Pacific Lutheran University. I graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Business. I moved back to Colorado after college. I have worked a few different jobs since moving back and I was a computer tech in a local school district before embarking on this journey as well as a long term substitute in a local elementary school working with students that are learning English.

In the past 10 years since graduating high school I have spent time discovering who I am and what my God given gifts are. God has been with me on the journey. I am so grateful that He has led me to YASC and this opportunity to serve Him and the Anglican Communion. I am grateful for the people I have met and the relationships that have developed. I am sure that they will continue to bless me as I move across the world for a year.
